Bring your creative visions to life in this hands-on intermediate fiber arts camp dedicated to weaving and fiber fun!
Campers will experiment with:
- On-the-loom weaving using tabletop looms
- Off-the-loom projects using items found in nature all while learning more about weaving.
Through instruction and open-ended exploration, artists will design and create unique projects that reflect their personal style. This camp will encourage creativity, patience, and craftsmanship while celebrating the joy of working with fiber and textiles. The projects that the weavers create will be totally up to them. Just a few examples of what they will be able to create include wall hangings, bird's nests, bracelets, table runners and placemats.
Kids registered for this camp must have previous weaving experience. If you have any questions if your child is eligible or not please call Annandale Art & Textile Center.
