Advanced Tapestry

In this intermediate Tapestry class we will use looms to create the weaving, but first we will examine the principles of design, experiment with color, while thinking about texture and gradations. 

There is much to learn and experience. Join us for this Tapestry Class. 

Note: Please plan on bringing to class printed photos of something you want to create. Landscapes, abstracts are the best to start with.

We’re getting our Warps on! 

An Intensive 3 days of learning to warp your looms. 

We will explore: 

Day 1 - Direct Warping Method 

Day 2 - Winding a warp. On a warping board , and Dressing the loom! Beginning to end. 

Day 3 - Sectional Warping- how to do it - what and how it can be done successfully. 

With each method of warping you will be doing the process. To experience each method!
